Last Updated: 20 February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeriDocs.org, operated by PeriDocs LLC, (“PeriDocs,” “we,” “us,” or “the Service”), the individual(s) using the Service (“User,” or “Users”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

This document must be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data is processed, how it is processed, and the rights available to users under applicable data protection laws.
If you do not agree with both the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PeriDocs is an educational platform focused on heuristic-based semantic analysis, heuristic-based pragmatic interpretation, relevant hyperlink retreival based on the contents of the queries ("Entry," or "Entries") submitted to the platform. The Service allows Users to submit said quieries for educational, reflective, and analytical purposes. Insights are generated for personal learning and reflection only and are not a substitute for professional advice.

  • Entry – a piece of text a user submits to PeriDocs
  • Embedding – a numeric generalization of text meaning
  • Centroid – a group of similar Entries given an overall generalized label assigned by a human
  • Derived Analytical Data – information computed from Entries (such as embeddings, similarity scores, or which Centroids an Entry may be most similar to)
  • Sensitive Personal Information – data revealing things such as race, religion, political opinion, health, or sexual orientation
  • Pseudonymized – data modified so it can’t be directly linked to a person without extra info
  • Audit Trail – a log showing what was done to data and when

3. User Content, Data Processing, and Deletion

3.1 Data Collected

  • -Account identifiers (e.g., email address)
  • -User-submitted text Entries
  • -System-generated metadata required for operation (e.g., timestamps, embedding vectors)
  • -Technical request data (including IP addresses, pseudonymized for routine operation)

IP addresses are processed transiently for network security and abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are not retained in plaintext beyond immediate operational necessity. Encrypted incident records containing IP data may be retained only in limited circumstances involving legal compliance, system integrity circumstances, credible safety escalations, accessible solely by authorized legal operations personnel. All access is logged in an auditable trail.

3.2 Derived and Analytical Data

PeriDocs may generate internal analytical representations of Entries, including but not limited to: semantic embeddings and similarity indices. These are used solely to provide Service features, are never sold or licensed for advertising, and are treated as personal data when reasonably linkable to a User.

3.3 License Grant

By submitting content, Users grant PeriDocs a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and display Entries solely for:

  • -Operating and maintaining the Service, including the right to reproduce, modify, format, and create technical derivative copies solely for operational purposes,
  • -Providing requested analyses and features, and
  • -Ensuring security, integrity, and lawful operation.

This license is not granted for advertising, marketing, or training third-party systems. Users retain all ownership rights in their content.

3.4 Deletion and Erasure Rights

Users may request deletion of their content and associated data through the Service’s account interface or by contacting info@peridocs.org.

We delete the plaintext content, timestamp and IP (Internet Protocol) address upon verified deletion requests. We may retain limited pseudonymized ledger identifiers, pseudonymized embeddings, and audit records necessary to maintain system integrity, system auditability, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or defend against claims. These retained records do not include plaintext content of any Entry. Deletion is destructive and irreversible. Deleted data cannot be restored, and deletion may permanently impair or disable features associated with the User’s account. Limited legal records may be retained strictly as required by law.

3.5 Age Eligibility

The Service is intended solely for individuals who are at least 16 years of age, or the minimum age of digital consent in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. If required by applicable law, parental consent may be required. PeriDocs does not knowingly process personal data from individuals below this age. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted without undue delay. Users represent and warrant they meet the applicable age requirement by using the Service.

4. Prohibited Use

Users must not submit content that violates laws, infringes third-party rights or intellectual property, or is intended to harm others. Submissions indicating imminent harm may trigger crisis escalation procedures. Attempts to extract, scrape, or reuse PeriDocs content outside personal or subscribed use are prohibited. PeriDocs reserves the right to permanently ban Users who demonstrate prohibited use(s) of the Service.

5. No Medical or Mental Health Advice

PeriDocs does not provide medical, clinical, mental health, or therapeutic advice. Insights are for educational and reflective purposes only.

6. Escalations and Legal Compliance

In cases of flagged Entries indicating credible risk of harm or legal obligation, encrypted incident records may be stored and disclosed only to authorized legal operations personnel or law enforcement as required by law. All access is auditable. PeriDocs does not undertake a duty to monitor or intervene and does not guarantee detection of risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

(a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeriDocs LLC, its Members, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Service, including but not limited to (i) incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the processing, storage, or deletion of personal data, (ii) system downtime, or (iii) reliance on analytical outputs.

(c) Nothing in this Section is intended to limit liability to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

The notice must include:
